Spanish side Valencia and Dutch club PSV have joined the race to sign Estoril’s Nigerian midfielder Anderson Esiti, completesportsnigeria.com has reliably gathered.
Esiti, who is very close to a move to French side Monaco according to his representative Paul Onamomo, will decide where he will be playing in the coming days.
“Valencia is keen to have him and he has been in talks with them but he has to decide and the player has asked for one week to decide where he wants to play,” Onamomo told completesportsnigeria.com.
The 21-year-old combative midfielder has also attracted interest from Sporting Lisbon who sees the former Leixões player as a replacement for William Carvalho if the Portuguese decides to quit the club.
Esiti played 17 times for his Portuguese side that finished 12th on the log in his debut season in the Primeira Liga.
He made his debut for the Super Eagles in their 2-0 win over Chad in an AFCON qualifier in Kaduna.
