Leicester striker Jamie Vardy looks set to make his first start of the season in Saturday’s Premier League home clash against Wolves. The England international came on and scored in last Friday’s 2-1 loss at Manchester United having returned to training earlier that week after his post-World Cup break, and Foxes boss Claude Puel has said he thinks Vardy has a “good chance” of starting this weekend.
While Caglar Soyuncu’s move to the club from Freiburg has now been completed, the Turkey defender will not be ready for the Wolves game, and Shinji Okazaki and Matty James are also currently not fit for selection.
Puel goes into the game already having to fend off speculation about his future as manager at the King Power Stadium with Belgium boss Roberto Martinez linked to his post.
“I can’t comment on speculation. I don’t bet and I don’t do the lottery – it’s not my way,” Puel told reporters.
“My job is to build something with Leicester, to continue to develop this club, to develop the players and the squad.
“After this, if people are angry or not satisfied, that is my concern. It is not the first time, it will not be the last.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
