Manchested United have bolstered Jose Mourinho's backroom staff by employing Spanish veteran player scout, Javier Ribalta, according to Marca.
Ribalta's arrival to assume the leadership of United's Sporting Department is expected to boost Mourinho's transfer market dealings.
And with Ribalta's involvement, Manchester United is set to win the race for the signing of Spanish striker, Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid.
Ribalta, as Juventus scouting kingpin, masterminded the signing of Morata by the Italian club three seasons ago from Real Madrid and the return of the player to the Champions League winners last year.
Ribalta is said to be a close confidant of Morata, and has had good relationship with the 24 year old over the years.
Marca reports that Ribalta's influence on Morata was further underscored recently when he featured prominently in the organisation of the striker's wedding in Venice. He has also featured in Morata's television documentary titled "Field of Stars".
Ribalta's job experience has spanned across big European clubs, including modest Spanish clubs, Figueres and Castelldefels. Others are Liverpool, Torino, AC Milan, Novara and then Juventus.
