World drivers’ title hopeful Sebastian Vettel says he is his own “biggest enemy” ahead of this weekend’s Singapore Grand Prix. The Ferrari ace has made a number of high-profile blunders this season which has led to title rival Lewis Hamilton opening up a 30-point lead in the race for the drivers’ title and the German knows he only has himself to blame.
He told reporters: “The biggest enemy is me. If we have something to play with, we have all the chances to do it in our way.”
Vettel is at a loss as to why he makes his errors but he knows there is no room for anymore and he cannot afford to lose any more points, following high-profile errors in the Azerbaijan, French, German and Italian Grands Prix this season.
“He [Hamilton] is ahead at the moment so he is the one to beat. But we have all the chances and how much they could be better by now is a different question,” he said.
“We still have a very, very good chance and we will be our first enemy, not him as a person and them as a team, we need to look after ourselves and if we do that we have a good chance to win races and things look good.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
