Aston Villa are already said to be lining up a permanent swoop for Everton winger Yannick Bolasie at the end of the season. Bolasie does not appear to be in the plans of new Toffees boss Marco Silva after he was allowed to head to the Championship club on loan and if all goes to plan then the deal could become permanent.
Much will depend on whether Villa can win promotion back to the Premier League this season and as things stand that looks a tall order as Steve Bruce’s side have got the new campaign off to a difficult start.
With Bolasie’s help, Villa will be hoping to turn that around but will only discuss a permanent deal at the end of the season when they know where they are, rather than talk terms in January.
Bolasie will not be short of options though as Middlesbrough, who lost out to Villa in the race to sign him this time, will be in the hunt again, and will also be hoping to be in a position to offer the winger regular first-team football.
