David Wagner remains positive about Huddersfield’s chances of survival and is not concerned about his team being written off. The Terriers play host to Tottenham on Saturday still searching for their first three points of the season after last week’s loss at Leicester extended their winless run to six matches.
Having narrowly avoided relegation last term, the West Yorkshire outfit are odds-on with most bookmakers to go down this time around after their poor start which leaves them bottom of the standings heading into the weekend.

Wagner is not concerned about those outside the club dismissing their chances of staying up and remains upbeat about avoiding the drop once more.
“Since I arrived we’ve been much more written off than not so. It’s absolutely nothing new for us,” he said.
“If you are propping up the table there is only one direction you can go and that’s north.”
Wagner is full of admiration for this week’s opposite number ahead of Saturday’s meeting and admits he will be testing himself against one of the top coaches in world football, Mauricio Pochettino.
“I can’t wait,” Wagner said. “It’s so exciting to be playing Tottenham, with one of the best managers in the world.
“My relationship (with Pochettino) is two games, two defeats and no goals – not the best one, but I’m a big fan of what he has done in the Premier League so far.
“He’s always able to find players, develop players, sometimes players who are not the biggest names in world football, but he turned them into some of the biggest names.
“This is something very special. He’s created success for this football club and this is why I’m a big admirer of what Mauricio is doing.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
