David Wagner says he is looking forward to a potentially season-defining run of fixtures for Huddersfield Town. The Terriers suffered a third consecutive defeat on Saturday when losing 1-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates which has left them 18th in the Premier League, two points adrift of 17th-place Burnley.

Huddersfield are now about to embark on a crucial part of their season with four of their next five fixtures coming against relegation rivals, starting with the home clash against Newcastle United at the weekend.
Wagner’s men will also face Southampton, Fulham and Burnley in this run of games, and the manager is looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead after being impressed with the effort his players have been showing.
“Six weeks ago, we had a similar situation where people were saying: ‘These are the games you have to collect points’,” he told the Yorkshire Post.
“Then we played Fulham and West Ham at home, and now we play Newcastle and Southampton at home. “Usually, to collect something against teams like Arsenal then it is more difficult. But that is our job. Every game is a game we have to play.
After how we performed against Arsenal and how we have performed in recent weeks, I am really looking forward to the next games.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
