Wakefield Trinity head coach Chris Chester has hailed Ben Reynolds as “fantastic” after he joined from Leigh on a two-year deal. The former Castleford man has completed his move to Belle Vue and becomes the third new signing confirmed in the past week, joining Craig Kopczak and George King at the club for the 2019 Super League season.

Chester believes Trinity have pulled off a coup to land the 24-year-old, who has loan spells with York City Knights and Doncaster under his belt.
“It is great to get this deal over the line,” Chester said. “Ben is a fantastic young player who will bring a lot of energy, adding some healthy competition to the halves.”
Reynolds, who is from nearby Pontefract, is delighted to have sealed the move, telling the Wakefield website: “I am over the moon to be able to sign for a big club that is so close to home and also doing very well.”
