Everton forward Theo Walcott is said to be losing his battle to be fit for the return of the Premier League because of a rib injury. The 29-year-old picked up the problem in the draw with Huddersfield last time out and although it is said to have healed, he is still having a problem with the pain.
Walcott is back running with the first team but has yet to resume full training and the likelihood is he will miss the clash with West Ham, returning the week after for the game against former club Arsenal.
Boss Marco Silva will go into the Hammers game with spirits high as they have yet to lose this season and face a side who have lost all four of their opening games.Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
