Arsenal forward Theo Walcott on Tuesday night surpassed the scoring feats of Ronaldo De Lima and Zinedine Zidane in the UEFA Champions League despite his team crashing out of the competition at the hands of Bayern Munich.
The Bavarians defeated the north London side 5-1 (10-2 on aggregate) and Walcott was the lone Arsenal scorer on the night.
The former Southampton academy product scored the first goal of the night in the first half to take his tally to 15 in the Champions League, one more than the French and the Brazilian superstar who won the FIFA World Cup in 1998 and 2002 respectively.
The goal which proved to be inconsequential means Walcott has scored four goals in his last four Champions League games at the Emirates.
Walcott scored his 15 Champions League goals against the following teams: Bayern Munich, Ludogorets, Basel, Oly
