Wales Rout Tonga In Cardiff

A new-look Wales side cruised their way past Tonga on Saturday as they picked up a record score of 74-24. Warren Gatland’s side were able to breeze through the game on home soil and they also managed to win by a record winning margin.

The Welsh team are now just one win away from a very first autumn clean sweep and they will take on South Africa next Saturday.

Three quick tries gave Wales total control but Tonga did show some fight to rally to level 24-24 just after half-time.
However, Gatland’s side responded with 50 unanswered points as Liam Williams scored a brace on his 50th cap.

Gatland made 14 changes to his side after the win over Australia but Wales showed plenty of promise ahead of the 2019 World Cup in Japan.
