Andre Ward manager, James Prince, insists “all things are possible” after his client was linked with a return to the ring. The 34-year-old decided to step away from the sport in September 2017 but reports continue to link him with a return.
He last fought in June 2017 when beating Sergey Kovalev and he retired with a record of 32-0, with 16 knockouts.
Ward has recently been named as a possible opponent for Oleksandr Usyk and Britain’s Callum Smith and Prince has refused to play down the rumours.

He told the Ringside Toe 2 Toe podcast: “We had a lot of success. He left the ring a wealthy man and put ‘to be continued. “You never know, there may be a ‘to be continued’ situation.
“Andre is a retired fighter right now. I believe that all things are possible. I’ll leave it at that. “All things are possible, if the right situation is presented, is allowed, you never know.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
