Warri Wolves To Face Leopards In Confed Cup 3rd Round

Nigeria’s only surviving club side on the continent Warri Wolves have been drawn against Congo’s A C Leopards in the third round of the CAF Confederation Cup.

According to cafonline.com, the draw which was held Tuesday, May 5, at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, will see the Congolese host the first leg of the tie before travelling to Nigeria for the reverse fixture.

In other fixtures, Raja Casablanca will face Etoile du Sahel, Zamalek will take on Sanga Balende, South Africa’s Orlando Pirates will slug it out with As Kaloum.

Also, Stade Malien will square up against AS Vita, CS Sfaxien and Asec Mimosas will go head-to-head against each other while Esperance will keep a date with Accra Hearts of Oak.

It would be recalled that the quartet of Enyimba, Kano Pillars, Dolphins and Warri Wolves represented Nigeria in CAF competitions this year.
