Watford Release Uche Ikpeazu

Watford have released Nigerian-born striker Uche Ikpeazu.

According to the club's official website, Ikpeazu, was released along with eight other U-21 players.

The club however took the option to extend the professional contract of Alex Jakubiak for a further year.

Ikpeazu, 21, joined Watford in 2013 from Reading but never got to play for the first team.

While with Watford, Ikpeazu was sent on loan to Crewe Alexandra and Doncaster Rovers.
 

From Doncaster Rovers, he went on loan again to Port Vale and Blackpool in his final year with the Hornets.
