Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure says goalkeeper Ben Foster has proven to be the club’s best signing of the summer. The Hornets moved to sign Foster for an undisclosed fee from relegated West Brom during the last window and the keeper has established himself as the club’s first-choice shot-stopper.
The 35-year-old, who spent two years on loan at Vicarage Road earlier in his career, has managed three clean sheets in 12 Premier League games so far and Doucoure has been impressed by Foster’s displays. “Ben Foster is a very, very good addition to the squad. I call him a legend because he is an unbelievable player,” he told the Watford Observer.

“When you have a good goalkeeper everything starts well. Against Southampton he saved us a lot and then we got a goal to get a point. “This year he has been very good and for me he is the best signing we made in the summer.”Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
