Wenger To Risk Alexis For Norwich Clash, Ox Returns

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger plan to risk  Alexis Sanchez in  Sunday's away trip to Carrow Road against Norwich City despite concerns over the forward's fitness.

There have been concerns about the forward's fitness levels in recent weeks after a gruelling start to the season for the Chilean.

Sanchez was not afforded the chance to rest in the summer following his involvement with Chile in Copa America.
Wenger revealed ahead of the game against the Canaries that the pacy forward has been carrying a hamstring complaint in recent days, but suggested he is planning to rest him.

"Spontaneously, it might not be the moment to rest Alexis but I don't know. He had a little hamstring alarm but we will see how he recovers from that," Wenger told a news conference on Friday.

"I take information, especially from medical people who know him and treat him every day. After that we will look at his overall recovery as well, but overall when there are alarming signs we want to make the right decision at the right moment.

"As long as the guys are in confidence, they score goals. It's always difficult to rest them.

"You always think that he knows himself well and he looks (tired) sometimes because when he does something, he does it hundred percent.

"So he finishes and you think, 'He is dead now'. But then he  recovers and gives 100 percent again. You always see signs of exhaustion but it's not that because two days later he is fine."

Joel Campbell is also doubful for the game, while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could make his return in the game after spending over a month on the sidelines.
