Werder Bremen coach Viktor Skripnik has described Anthony Ujah as a true professional footballer.
Ujah, who has 24 Bundesliga appearances under his belt this season, has scored nine times for Bremen.
Speaking ahead of his team’s Bundesliga clash against bottom-placed Hannover 96 this weekend, Skripnik praised Ujah’s understanding of the team playing as a unit.
“He’s a true professional. We are a unit, everyone accepts that. It’s important.”
Skripnik went on to express confidence on Ujah and his team-mates securing the three points against Hannover.
“I’ve spoken to the boys. Everyone wants to play. We trust our players,” Skripnik told the Werder Bremen website.
Meanwhile, Bremen are 15th in the 18-team league.
In their midweek league game against Bayer Levekusen, Bremen won 4-1, with Claudio Pizzaro netting a hat-trick.
