West Brom Boss Rules Out Anichebe Exit

By Adeboye Amosu:

West Brom manager, Tony Pulis says he is determined to keep Nigeria international, Victor Anichebe at the club, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.

Bolton Wanderers reportedly enquired about the well built forward, but were told the former Everton man wants to stay at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies manager was asked to confirm the Trotters' interest in the player during his press conference ahead of this weekend's game against Everton.

"I don't know. If they were,  but we have to keep the group together.

"We have got to keep the group and I'd like to keep that together now.

"I wouldn't like to lose anyone before christmas."

Anichebe has featured only twice for  Albions so far this season and have slipped down the pecking order following the arrival of Solomon Rondon and Rickie Lambert.

He was featured in a deeper lying midfield role by Pulis in Wednesday's Capital One Cup Clash against Norwich City.
