After the celebrated club record signing of Brown Ideye, West Bromwich Albion are said to have pushed ahead for a loan deal for Nigeria international, Victor Moses.
According to Soriebah Kajue of Mirror, the Baggies were first linked with the Kaduna born player, Victor Moses who played at the World Cup for the Super Eagles of Nigeria last month but as it stands, a deal is requested to be concluded.
Moses, the Wigan stand out performer has failed to replicate the form that made Chelsea paid £9m in 2012 for his services. He had a below average performance last season while on loan at Liverpool and he isn’t in Jose Mourinho’s plan for next season but the interest from West Bromwich Albion may be the life line Victor Moses need to reignite his career.
The Baggies Technical Director Terry Burton has listed the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winner as the main interest to play at the club’s wings.
With West Brom showing more interest in the Nigerian, if Victor Moses join West Brom, he will form an all Nigerian attack along with Brown Ideye and Victor Anichebe and also join other Nigerians like, Peter Odemwingie, Kanu Nwankwo and Ifeanyi Udenze who have at one time or the other worn the Baggies shirt.
