West Ham Coach, Star Back Moses To Shine

By Johnny Edward and Adeboye Amosu:

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic believes Nigeria winger, Victor Moses, needs a permanent home to fulfil his potential as a top footballer.
Also, Moses’ new West Ham teammate Dimitri Payet has backed the Super Eagles star to score many goals for the London club.
Moses who is on a season-long loan with the Hammers impressed on his debut in the 2-0 home win against Newcastle on Monday night.
The former Wigan star has spent the last three seasons on loan from his parent club, Chelsea, since joining the Blues in 2012.
And for Bilic, the formula for success with Moses is for him to stay in a club where he can call home.
“He is a class player,” the Croatian said during his press conference ahead  of this weekend’s game against Manchester City at the Etihad.
“He doesn’t have that continuity in one club which is also very important for you to settle down.
“Last year he played at Stoke and he was, if not their best, one of their best players so he has more than enough quality to make a difference in the Premier League.
“His first game was really good for us, not only for that fantastic sprint for the goal but also because of his composure, his linking play but also his work rate.”
Payet has tipped Moses to score plenty goals for the Hammers during his loan stint.

Moses was denied a debut goal by the cross bar against Newcastle and Payet who netted the rebound is confident the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations hero has a lot of quality to help the squad.

The playmaker praised Moses’ performance in an interview with the club’s official website, suggesting that he already knew the player’s quality before his arrival – and believes that he will score a number of goals this season despite hitting the crossbar.

“He deserved to finish with a goal because his run was magnificent, but unfortunately for him and fortunately for me, the crossbar got in his way,” said Payet.

“But I’m sure, with his quality, he will score plenty of goals this season.

“He’s a player that I know because I’d already seen him play, particularly at Chelsea and in the Africa Cup of Nations.

“He has a lot of quality to enable him to run with the ball and he’s very quick. We saw that in the second goal. The ball came back to me again, but he did all the hard work.”
