West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic is in line to return from a knee injury for Saturday’s home clash with Manchester United. The Austria international has missed their last two games – the draw with Chelsea and the victory over Macclesfield – but he has been in training this week.
If he comes through a late fitness test then Manuel Pellegrini will deploy the former Stoke man at the point of West Ham’s attack for the early kick-off at the London Stadium.
Summer signing Carlos Sanchez suffered a knock in the 8-0 League Cup win over Macclesfield and he will need to come through a late fitness test.
Pellegrini made eight changes for the Carabao Cup outing and he is expected to restore his first-team regulars.
