What Do You Think About Nigerian Players And Transfer Market?

The summer transfer window is still about a month before it closes with some world record fees having been paid by wealthy clubs for players.

Some Nigerian players have also switched clubs while others have been linked to others, hoping to shore up their teams around the world.

The likes of Brown Ideye and Ezekiel Imoh have moved to new pastures while John Mikel Obi, Victor Moses, Emmanuel Emenike, Efe Ambrose, Ogenyi Onazi, Ramon Azeez and Odion Ighalo are said to be either on the wishlist or are on the verge of sealing transfer moves to other clubs.

What is your impression about the transfer window especially as regards Nigerian players?

Do you think Nigerian players would someday attract the world record transfer fees which the likes of Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Luis Suarez, James Rodriguez and Zinedine Zidane(during his playing days) have commanded?

Which Super Eagles player do you think has the realistic chance or prospect to become a hot commodity in the transfer window with big clubs across the world scrambling for his signature like the world class players listed above?

Some Nigerian players are very good on the field but now football is not just a field game, its now grown more than that. Countries like England,Brazil, Argentina and Spain knows how to package a player and the media in that countries too. I lived in Madrid for five years before i move down to Oslo, i can see how the media and the Country trying to help the players even when they do some things wrong on the street. I have been with some of the players at clubs and know what am talking about. let me give you one eg. some Brazilian player if the are from Nigeria they can not play in the Club they are playing right now. but the media in that country all the time talking more good things they did on the field.

I believe in the nearest future, Kelechi Iheanacho will be a standout player that the high spending clubs will be jostling for if he keep his head cool and play to instructions of his coaches.
