Deontay Wilder says Saturday’s bout with Tyson Fury will be the “most important” fight of his career.
The pair meet in Los Angeles for the ‘Bronze Bomber’s’ WBC heavyweight strap and both know the winner will more than likely get a shot at WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO champion Anthony Joshua in April 2019.

Wilder weighed in three-stone lighter on Friday but his punching power could even up the weight difference, having achieved 39 knockouts in his unbeaten 40-fight career.
After all the hype surrounding the build-up to the bout at the Staples Center, the 33-year-old says he is ready to let his fists do the talking in what he acknowledges will be the biggest fight of his career.
“Talk is cheap, tomorrow is time, actions speak louder than words,” Wilder told Showtime PPV. “Tomorrow I get to release everything that is inside of me.
Definitely this the most important fight of my career, but I’ve fought tougher guys than him. “This is just another step of me getting to where I want to go. I’m gonna knock him out.”
