Warri Wolves head coach Paul Aigbogun insists his side can challenge for the title this season.
The Seasiders moved to third position on the log after holding Kwara United to a 1-1 draw on Wednesday.
And with only three points seperating them from leaders Sunshine Stars and second placed Enyimba, Aigbogun is confident his side can push the other contenders hard for the title till the end of the campaign.
“We are happy with our position in the table at the moment,” he told completesportsnigeria.com.
“It’s still long way to go before the end of the season, but we are in a position where we can challenge for the title.
“It’s going to be a tough task from now till the end of the season, but we have enough quality to win it.
“It will be a nice thing to finish as champions, but we have to believe we can do it,”
Wolves will tackle Sharks in Port Harcourt this weekend when the league resumes from the two-week mid-season break.
