–For CAF Confed Cup clash with a Leopards

Nigeria’s only remaining club in the CAF interclub competition, Warri Wolves will be flown to Brazaville on Thursday by Ethiopian Airline for their crucial CAF Confederation Cup final qualifying round first leg match slated for Sunday May 15, 2015.
The team will prosecute the match with almost the same team that conquered MK Etanchetie in Congo except Gbolahan Salami who will not make the trip because of card offence.
Solomon Kwambe who has not featured in the Continental matches will make the journey and could make his debut in the tournament in Brazzaville.
Wolves are slated to arrive Lagos on Wednesday for the trip, said a statement signed by Moses Etu.
The statement added that executive governor of Delta State, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan has made available fund on time for the journey.
“Management felt the team should leave on time to get acclimatized to the weather and environment in Brazzaville.
“We are set for the crucial match and the Governor as usual has made available fund for the trip.
“We are going with almost the same set of players that won in Congo DR except Gbolahan Salami who has two yellow cards.
“The only addition to the squad are Solomon Kwambe and Okiemute Odah. We are going on time to get used to the environment because we know that the match will not be easy,”t he statement signed by Etu Moses read in parts.
The match, according to Etu will take place in a 20,000. capacity Stadium, Stade Denis Sassone Nguesso on Sunday by 3.00pm, Nigeria time.
To get to this stage, the Congo team was eliminated by Smouha FC of Egypt in the CAF Champions League while Warri Wolves triumphed over MK Etanchetie of D.R. Congo.
