Wolverhampton Wanderers took a look at in-form Bordeaux striker Francois Kamano during Thursday’s Europe League draw with Zenit.
Wolves were on the scouting list at the Stade Matmut-Atlantique for the Group C game, which finished as a 1-1 draw after Kamano’s first-half penalty was cancelled out by Anton Zabolotnyi’s second-half strike.
Nuno Espirito Santo is looking for a new striker in the January transfer window and Wolves are casting the net around for options.
The pacy Kamano, 22, has scored 10 goals for Bordeaux this season with seven of those coming in Ligue 1.
The Guinea international has also been linked to Atletico Madrid and Newcastle with both of those clubs also having scouts in attendance at the match on Thursday night.
