By Adeboye Amosu:
Nigeria's representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup, Warri Wolves, are confident of booking a place in the group stage of the competition despite the enormity of the task before them.
The Seasiders lost the first leg against Congolese foes AS Leopards three weeks in Dolisie and need to score four goals without conceding any to book their passage to the next round competition.
An official of the side, Moses Etu, has however told completesportsnigeria.com that they are not perturbed by the first leg scoreline.
Etu said the players are in high spirits ahead of the game and are ready to give their all against the Congolese despite not receiving their salaries for two months.
''It's unfortunate that we lost by such a wide margin against them [AS Leopards ] but that's in the past now," Etu told completesportsnigeria.com.
''What we have to think about is the game in Warri and we are upbeat we can overturn the result.
''The players are owed two months salaries but they have all resolved to put that beside and give their all in the game.
''Heartland and Pillars have showed in the past AS Leopards are poor on the road even though they were unable to scale through against them, but we hope to be able to stop them this time around."Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
