Wolves Reject Leeds Loan Move For Ikeme

Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers recently turned down a  request from Leeds United to take  Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme on loan, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.


Leeds according to reports made the loan approach in October, shortly after the appointment of Steve Evans as their manager.
But according to Yorkshire Post, their request  was turned down by Wolves despite Ikeme not being a regular starter at the time.
The Nigeria international is now the club’s number one goalie following injury to Emiliano Martinez.

Ikeme has been sent out  on loan to eight different clubs since linking up with Wolves in 2003.
