The race to pick continental tickets and maintain Premier League status will take centre stage on Sunday, the final day of the 2014/2015 Glo Premier League season, reports Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
Two clubs, Warri Wolves and Giwa FC, are in the hunt for the second Champions League spot, while the other three, Sunshine Stars, Nasarawa United and Wikki Tourists are vying to secure a place in the Confederation Cup.
Second-placed Warri Wolves who have the same points, 63, with Giwa FC, but have a superior goal difference to the Jos-based outfit will host relegation bound FC Taraba at the Warri City Stadium.
The Seasiders who have lost once at home in this campaign look good to pick a win against their opponents who have managed just nine wins in 37 games this season.
Nasarawa United and Giwa FC will slug it out at the Lafia Township Stadium with both sides needing a win to secure a continental picket.
Nasarawa United who occupy the fifth position on the log will however need fourth-placed Sunshine Stars to lose their game to be certain of playing on the continent next season.
Sunshine Stars will host newly crowned champions, Enyimba, at their new home ground, Teslim Balogun Stadium, Lagos.
A win for the Owena Waves and defeat for Giwa FC should be enough for them to secure third place.
Abdu Maikaba’s Wikki Tourists who still have a slim chance of getting a continental berth will entertain former champions, Kano Pillars, at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi.
Akwa United and Lobi Stars, two teams who are fighting to escape the drop, will slug it out in Uyo.
In Enugu, Rangers need a win against Bayelsa United to maintain their top flight status, while Dolphins will take their own survival battle to Ibadan, where they will be guests of Shooting Stars.
Sharks head to Umuahia where they will tackle Abia Warriors in a must-win game.
Kwara United will play their last game in the top flight before their return to National League against IfeanyiUbah, while Heartland will host El-kanemi Warriors in Owerri in the last game of the weekend.
