Caroline Wozniacki beat Petra Kvitova in three sets at the WTA Finals and was pleased with her reaction to losing the second set. The defending champion won the opening set 7-5 but Kvitova fought back to level matters, with Wozniacki requiring medical treatment on her knee during the second set.

The 28-year-old Dane eventually prevailed 7-5 3-6 6-2 in two hours and 19 minutes and Wozniacki was happy with her performance.
“I am pleased how I kept cool,” She told BT Sport.
“I didn’t think I played badly in the second set, she just played really well. I had to refocus and keep doing what I was doing.”
Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina later overcame Karolina Pliskova of the Czech Republic 6-3 2-6 6-3 in the other White Group match on Tuesday.
