Yobo Set To Join Pillars Or IfeanyiUbah As Elite Player

Former Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo is set to return to active football after reaching an agreement with the League Management Company to feature for a club in the last 12 games of the current season, Completesportsnigeria.com can report.
The former Everton defender, according to the LMC, will be assigned to a club under the NPFL Elite Players Scheme which another former Nigeria international, Sani Kaita, benefited from two seasons ago.
Four clubs, Akwa United, FC IfeanyiUbah, Kano Pillars and Wikki Tourists, are bidding to land the former Fenerbache centre- back.
The 35-year old centre-back last featured for English Premier League side, Norwich City.
He featured in 101 international matches for Nigeria. His last appearance for the Super Eagles was against France at the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
