Super Eagles coach Salisu Yusuf believes strongly that the African Nations Championship will help the Nigeria Football Federation to build a strong home-based Eagles teamq ahead of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018 World Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
Salisu, who spoke to Complete Sports from Kano where the Home Eagles are camped ahead of the August 13 CHAN qualifier against Benin Republic, said he has seen quality talents in the domestic league and if properly managed, they will be as good as their overseas-based counterparts.
"Yes, I am impressed with the players we have in camp and for the few days we have been together, I must tell you that they have all been working hard and like I always say, Nigeria is blessed with talents and if properly managed, they will be as good as those based abroad," Yusuf told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"I believe that this CHAN Tournament will help Nigeria to build a strong Home Eagles and when we approach the next AFCON and World Cup, we won't have any problem drafting some of the players into the main team."Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
