Zambia forward, Lewis Macha is an injury doubt for the Chipolopolo's Russia 2018 World Cup qualiying fixture against Nigeria, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Macha, who plays for South African side, Kaizer Chiefs, Completesportsnigeria.com learnt from a source close to the Chipolopolo, picked up the injury while in action for the ABSA Premier League side.
The 24-year- old is one of the players invited for the game by head coach of the side, Wedson Nyirenda.
Meanwhile, Nyirenda has backed out of the plan to release all the home- based players in camp for to represent their clubs in league games this weekend.
Instead, he has released the eight Zesco United players in camp who are due to play for their club in the Barclays Cup quarter-final fixture against Konkola Blades on Sunday.
