Russian side, Zenith St Petersburg have reportedly tabled an offer of e15m for Super Eagles and Fenerbahce of Turkey forward, Emmanuel Emenike, according to Turkish paper, Fotomac.
In a report on its website titled, Emenike Zenit’in takibinde (Zenith In Pursuit of Emenike, the paper reports that Zenith boss, Andres Villas Boas is howqever coy on the club’s interest when asked in a press conference in Russia.
The Portuguese said the club does not do its transfers in the open and any deal will be announced to the public as soon as it is concluded.
He also denied Zenith is making any move for the Nigerian marksman when the Russian media sought to confirm if the club has truly made an offer five million euros short of the reported 20 million euros price tag Fenerbahce have placed on the player.
Fotomac however revealed that Emenike’s deal is alomost concluded.
Chelsea of England are also reported to be interested in signing the Super Eagle.
