Nigeria's AFCON Foe Egypt Sack Coach El-Badry

Egyptian Football Association announced the dismissal of Hossam El-Badry as Egypt national team head coach.

El-Badry was named as Egypt’s head coach by the EFA after Javier Aguirre was sacked following the 2019 African Cup of Nations.

During his period as a head coach, El-Badry led the Pharaohs in nine games, five of which he won and four he tied.

However, Egypt’s performance in the current 2022 World Cup qualifications was questioned by many, especially after the draw with Gabon yesterday.

Following that, EFA decided that it was time to look for a change as they decided to dismiss Hossam El-Badry and his staff from their position.

The decision came through EFA official social Media platforms, the statement came as follows: “The Egyptian Football Association would like to thank Hossam El-Badry and his technical staff for the work they have done for the national team.

“We wish them good luck and fortune in their future career. And the EFA will decide the new technical staff for the national team during the next 48 hours.”

I just said this few minutes ago and I am not surprised that Africa is waking up slowly.

I hope NFF and Nigerians are reading this today.

Egypt EFA wants the best for their national team and they made the right decision.

“However, Egypt’s performance in the current 2022 World Cup qualifications was questioned by many, especially after the draw with Gabon yesterday.

Following that, EFA decided that it was time to look for a change as they decided to dismiss Hossam El-Badry and his staff from their position”.

After the draw with Gabon yesterday?

Less than 24 hours, they fired the coach but in Nigeria, we keep deceiving themselves and we are expecting Super Eagles to progress?

Time will tell. God bless Nigeria!!!

You are an idiot! I said it! You’ve just been lying in wait like a rabbied dog for rohr to slip but God has always been on that man’s side despite your bad belle and shall continue to be until his appointed time is up. Ur good wishes to the team after the Liberian game came out of a belly full of stupidity, bitterness, hate and foolishness. You’ll never cease to amaze me, omo9ja. So, in your feeble deceitful, fake, smelly and dirty mind, u think sacking a coach now is an intelligent thing to do abi??? In the middle of crucial world cup qualifiers?? So, bcs Egypt did it and gbam!, u think is the right way to go. How foolish and stupid of you as usual. The Egyptians have just shot themselves in the foot and this would definitely have negative consequences for their team but to our own advantage in the long run. God is just indirectly clearing the way for that man called rohr. He fights his battles in mysterious ways, whilst always Preparing a table before him in the presence of his enemies in disguise. They deliberately owe him salaries and bonosuses, he delivers. They assign a cassava farm to him to play on, he delivers. Egypt seems to be our headache at afcon mundial next year, God sends confusion to their camp to clear the way for rohr. can’t u see that this man has the backing of a higher being?? He seems to be performing against all odds. Id advise u to stop attacking him for your own good otherwise you’ll run mad very soon bcs of rohr. Ewu gambia.

You are a madman o do you think you are normal you are not normal, you are a half castrated abnormal he-goat, that is why you are even having a madname, look at your name “Oakfield”, stupid annoying, idiotic and animalistic bastard like you,is gernot rohr a human being before gernot rohr is a worst, idiotic, average, stupid, useless, and empty head coach and in Case you don’t know your stupid gernot rohr is among the worst coach Nigeria has ever had,omo9ja is saying the truth and you just come out of nowhere and started raining insults on him, is it because we are on a chatting platform then you think you can rain insults on anybody as you like or you want to tell me that if it is face to face can you insult him like that, all our super eagles great legends amuneke, segun odegbami, Samson siasia, aiyegbeni have all said the same thing which is obvious and clear in every one’s eyes “gernot rohr is not good”, and it is very clear that we have a waste product as a coach, yet you are here wagging your useless mouth trying to support a waste product as a coach in which even a blind man can see that he(gernot rohr) is even worst than a waste product, how can a coach be building a team for five years if he is not a madman,a stupid coach in which we don’t even know the pattern the super eagles is playing whether they are getting worster we don’t even know,I don’t blame him cause normally he is a worst and an average coach by nature before NIGERIA employed him as coach of the super eagles he hasn’t won any silverware in his entire 62 year old career on top of that he has been harshly dismissed by the last four African countries he has coached, even his records tell you that the guy is a complete waste product yet idiotic amaju pinnick who calls himself the nff president still went to employ him, even though his CV was as poor as shit,it is this same idiotic and animalistic pinnick that has been backing him up despite his obvious woefull and extremely poor coaching ablity,in my own opinion this Nigeria coach is the worstest coach I have ever seen in this era, same scenario happened with Chelsea when I earlier told people that lampard is an average coach they doubted and argued with me that it wasn’t lampard,s fault that it was the players fault, I even recall a situation where the argument nearly resulted to a fight between me and one of my fellow Chelsea fan, now it’s been over a year since Chelsea extremely wise owner ABRAMOVICH sacked lampard, Chelsea are the champions of Europe and they’ve won the super cup plus Chelsea are a now extremely powerful team now and are league contenders, you can clearly see the difference in the team, compare Chelsea under lampard and Chelsea under TUCHEL there is a extremely huge difference and success is speaking for itself, even those animalistic idiots who once argued with me that it is the players fault not lampards fault are seeing the difference clearly with their own eyes, but come to think of it just imagined Chelsea didn’t sacked lampard how would it have been, same thing is happening to Nigerian football right now believe it and it’s painful we don’t have someone who can deal with the two idiotic bastards pinnick and rohr,

Omo9ja, you fall my hand with this one.
So we should sack Rohr in the middle of world cup qualifiers? Haba!
You might as well throw the baby out with the bathwater because the bathwater is dirty!
You didn’t mention the unpaid salary, or the nonsense pitch that the boys managed to get a win on, or other NFF wahala. All your focus is on sacking this man. Na so so sack sack you dey. It’s not good ooo!!!

@Pompei, thanks for disagreeing with Omo9ja without calling him an idiot, etc. It is people like you that we want to read their comments in this forum.

As critical as Omo9ja is, he is more cultured than most people who disagree with him…

        My brother

You cant compare Egypt and Nigeria in a lot of things!!! Just like you can’t grow maize or yam on a sandy soil !!!
Egypt is a well organized African nation…Pls let that sink in your head!

Their government is doing good, their economy is decent and their FA takes proper care of the welfare of all their national representatives.

Please tell me how confident you rate the performance of our governmental bodies in Nigeria as at today?
Tell me if the economy of our nation is competitive to other global nations?
How do you rate our domestic league compare to leagues in Ghana, Ivory coast, Tunisia, South Africa, Morocco and EGYPT?
Do you know the last time, NFF paid Rohr his salary and the players, their entitled bonus???
What stops a country like Nigeria from having at least two camping homes(in Lagos and Abuja) with accommodation, gymnasium, swimming pool, multiple soccer pitches and other facilities where our players can camp comfortably without distractions and execute their tactics during qualifiers instead of lodging in a hotel and getting all such of distractions prior to an important game?

Rohr is a God’s gift to Nigeria but some of us don’t know that…Just like what arsenal fans did to Wenger!!!

If you sack Rohr today, who is the ideal choice and next in line…that will be a proper upgrade to exceed our expectation and raise the bars even higher?
Another Foreigner or some ex-international from our domestic front?
Please mention that one choice, and we will discuss his options!!!

Most top-class coaches around the globe will definitely want to come and work as a technical adviser of the SE or SF…but they will consider the other factors that brings out their evil and ugly heads in the Nigeria system, …and they will flee from the idea or offer!

Our beloved nation is currently mauled by the evils of corruption, insecurity, terrors of many kinds, instability and uncertainties!!!

Egypt will always attract high class suitors to manage their national teams but Nigeria will struggle to replace Rohr with a creditable and upgraded coach when his time is over. A lot of us know this and we just hope and pray for a better nation!

        In summary,
My brother Omo9ja….it is an insult to compare a lizard to a Crocodile!!!

        God bless Nigeria

If it were to be Nigeria draw against Gabon will be forever celebrated, I trust drey and his bandwagons. No more minors in football talks when we should be improving our capacity to stay above.

Of course there are no more minors in football. Common sense should have told u that. For Gabon to grind a draw against Egypt typically shows u that. Use ur head properly. Stop that thing you’ve been smoking all this while, it’s very bad for your health. Ewu gambia.

Hehehehe look at them bunch of backward regressives. So because Egypt sack their coach Nigeria should do the same?? For what reason?? Egypt only rely on one player and watch out how the SuperEagles will dismantle them in Cameroon. With this development they may not qualify from their group to the knockout stage of the WorldCup qualifiers. Less than 4 months to the AFCON which coach are you expecting to come and take them across the Red Sea?? They’re gnashingly waiting for a bad result tomorrow to have a voice again. Rohr has put their mouths in the hole all this while they are voiceless except if they want to brag about trading forex at 50 plus. Lmao!! Bunch of miserable bigots.

There is nothing wrong with sacking an underperforming coach if he fails to live upto expectation. Also, there is nothing wrong with hiring a new coach months to a tournament. Belmadi won the nation’s cup months after being hired and he is tormenting African teams till date.
A coach is as good as his last match.

One thing I do know for sure is that we have a waste product as a coach and I will always say it anywhere and the day I come across any of you who challenge me while am insulting that worstest coach Nigeria has ever had I will slap that person better slap so he can show me his strength for him to have the audacity to challenge me

What right thinking coach will coach Nigeria at this point? A football association that owes players and its coach. The one you called a waste product hasn’t been paid 7 months lol. You think your NFF chairman is stupid? Lol he knows he can’t try that shit with most Coaches hence the reason why they can’t do away with Rohr. Also your diction alone speaks volume of your literacy “Worstest” ma guy nobody go waste time to confront agbero….

Tuchel and zidane as well come to mind, they inherited a team in bad moment but turn the same set of players into a formidable team and win the UCL at the first try. Rohr is doing is best and we really dnt need sack him now, let’s wait till after the qualification and nations cup proper.

Having a waste product as a coach has killed the passion of Nigerians for the super eagles

      @ Destano.
If you call this man a waste product, and he is well known to many. He coaches the National team, he has coached other clubs and teams and he keep making the headlines. If he is a waste product despite all this, then I wonder what you are. You should be worse than a waste product since no one knows you.

A coach that won 5 and drew the rest in 9 games was sacked??That’s a strange decision.
Going through the profiles of players paraded by both teams I wondered why the Egyptians thinks they must win away against Gabon.
Gabon has majority of its players in the European leagues and most of whom are in the the top five of the European football compare to Egypt that has just two players in the European league.Salah(England)and the goalscorer from Galatasaray. The rest play in the the middle East majority coming from the Egyptian league.
I understand they are organised and has one of the best leagues in Africa but Gabon has crops of players that can hold there own playing at home against a side like Egypt.
I do not rate Egypt highly,Morocco and Algeria are the feared teams in the Maghreb region because collectively they have quality that can compete beyond Africa parading players in the best top five leagues of European football.
Sacking a coach that has gathered 4 points out of a possible 6 and are top of the table in a world cup qualifier,a new coach who is still warming himself to the team is rather harsh in my opinion.

@Pompei, thanks for disagreeing with Omo9ja without calling him an idiot, etc. It is people like you that we want to read their comments in this forum.

As critical as Omo9ja is, he is more cultured than most people who disagree with him…
