Golden Eaglets media officer Francis Achi has said most Ghanaians are happy that their country’s U-17 team Black Starlets will not face Nigerian team in the semi-finals of the WAFU B tournament.
The Eaglets booked their place in the semi-finals after a convincing 3-0 win against Togo in their final Group B encounter.
The match, which should have been played on Wednesday evening, was postponed to Thursday morning after the venue became water-logged following a heavy downpour.
A brace from Abdulmuiz Adeleke and a solitary strike from Rapha Adams secured the win for the Eaglets.

I’m a Nigerian and I’m happy we’re not facing Ghana. It’s very dangerous because if we lose that’s the end.
The avoidance is vice versa, that’s hide and seek game from both countries
The avoidance is vice versa r
We are rather happy to avoid them for every reason.
Ghanaians tv commentators on maxtv preferred to meet Nigeria rather than Bokina-Faso believing they can beat Nigeria as they are not as physical as the Bokina-Faso team.
I pray for both team to qualify for final so as to settle their scores. But l believe the Ghanaians team is better than ours because of the way they prepared the this tournament.
