Ademola Lookman has praised Atalanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini for his role in his development.
Lookman has seen a remarkable improvement in his game since linking up with La Dea two years ago.
The Nigeria international was the club’s top scorer last season.
The 26-year-old has further underlined his importance to the club in this season.
Lookman has so far scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in 43 matches across all competitions for La Dea this season.
The winger caught the eye with a hat-trick in the Europa League final against Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night.
Responding to question on Gasperini’s best qualify, Lookman told UEFA.com: “His intensity. From the training and the conversations you have with him, you understand what he expects of you.
“The first conversations I had with him made me look at football a lot differently. It made things simple. It allowed me to play my game in a different light. I’m very grateful to him.”
