Onyekuru Fired Up For Benin Challenge

Henry Onyekuru is delighted to earn a call-up for Nigeria’s 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Benin and Lesotho , reports Completesports.com.

Onyekuru has not been called-up to the Super Eagles since the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt due to his inactivity at club level.

A loan move to Turkish Super Lig outfit Galatasaray has helped get his career back on track.

The former Everton player took to the social media to celebrate his return to the national team.

“Rejoining the national team, the honour of representing my country will always be special to me 🇳🇬🇳🇬,” he tweeted.

      Big prayer…! Really huge prayer…!

I pray he grabs this opportunity with both hands and legs. Its not every time you have the opportunity of not having your 3 biggest competitors in camp.

Almighty God, using the instrument of destiny may have just worked this out for you. How do you explain your leaving France to score good amount of goals within a short while to catch the the attention of the gaffer while the two players above you in pecking order are held back in same france you were “frustrated out”. Just why we should look at things always with the eye of the inner man and always thank/praise Jehovah God irrespective, because HE truly cares so much about us and forever in control of those in submission to HIS WILL while allowing those who are not to be controlled by their self seeking glory desires.

onyekuru has to make a point in the match against Benin…..tho in my team i’ll prefer a ‘3-5-2’ formation… that way Osimhen and Kels get to play together….Zaidu Sanusi and Aina would play as wingbacks. iwobi, Aribo and Ndidi….then a defence 3 of Ajayi-Ekong-Balogun

    Osimhen Kels
    Iwobi Aribo
    Ndidi
