The quartet of Dynamic FC, Ighalo FA, Emiloju FC and Vido 99 FC have gone
through to the group stage of the 1xCup 2026 after emerging victorious in Thursday’s second round of qualifiers played at the Inspire Sports Ground, Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos.
Royalty Athletic FC 1-3 Dynamic FC
Dynamic FC came back from one goal behind to continue their impressive run in the competition with a convincing 3-1 victory over Royalty Athletic.
Having beaten Vinod FA 3-1 in their opening game, Dynamic maintained their perfect record with another three-goal performance.
Sunday Udoh put Royalty Athletic into a 12th minute lead but Dynamic hit right back with three goals, as they got their equaliser through Opaleye Elijah Oluwaseyifunmi in the 25th minute with his goal assisted by Omoshade Samuel.
Samuel went from provider to scorer after netting in the 31st minute to put Dynamic ahead for the first time in the game.
Samuel thereafter went from scorer to provider in the 54th minute, this time around coming up with his second assist of the match to set up Afolabi Ridwan for Dynamic’s third goal.
The result underlines the strong attacking form of Dynamic and makes them one of the teams to watch as the competition progresses.

Ighalo FA 3-0 Arich FC
Ighalo FA produced another commanding display, defeating Arich FC 3-0 to strengthen their position in the competition.
Ighalo had announced their ambitions with a remarkable 5-0 win over Panthers FA in their opening fixture and followed that up with another emphatic victory.
Arich FC, who had shown character by defeating Pro Select FC on penalties after a 2-2 draw in their opening game, struggled to match Ighalo’s attacking threat.
The game had barely started when Olatunji Seyi scored as early as the third minute to put Ighalo into the lead while the second goal arrived in the 14th minute after Nathaniel Akinpelu set up Ezeji Ikenna.
Alidu Mohammed made it 3-0 in the 38th minute as Ikenna went from scorer to provider, with the back-to-back wins putting Ighalo in a strong position as the battle for group-stage qualification intensifies.
Emiloju FC 2-1 Franceex United
Emiloju FC edged Franceex United 2-1 in a closely contested encounter. Both teams had entered the match after recording narrow 1-0 victories in their opening games, and another tight contest was expected.
A brace from Ogundeji Elijah was all that Emiloju needed to secure a narrow victory over Franceex with the midfielder opening the scoring in the 12th minute before adding the second goal in the 29th minute.
Despite going a man down in the 11th minute after defender Njoku Chigozie picked up a straight red card, Franceex halved the deficit through Kennedy Gabriel Imiefoh in the 32nd minute but it only turned out to be a consolatory goal.
Emiloju ultimately did enough to secure all three points, maintaining their winning start and moving another step closer to progression.
Franceex United, meanwhile, will have to regroup quickly after suffering their first defeat of the campaign.
Goals FC 0-1 Vido 99 FC
Vido 99 FC secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Goals FC in the day’s final encounter, with the only goal of the game coming courtesy of Bakare Akinsola as the midfielder found the back of the net in the 40th minute.
With the result, Vido has thus continued its perfect start after their opening-round 2-0 win over Star To Be FC.
Their latest victory also highlights their defensive strength, having now kept consecutive clean sheets.
