Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has assured Nigerians that the team will wreck and pick the six points against the Squirrels of Benin and Crocodile of Lesotho in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Okoye stated this in an interview with a Lagos-based radio station, where he said that the players are prepared to make amends for the team’s failure to defeat Sierra Leone.
He said that the players are in high spirits and will do anything to help the team get the six points against Benin and Lesotho.
“I’m looking forward to the game because I’m always honoured to represent my country and I’m trying to help the team and to get the win of course.
“We can understand the disappointment from the last two matches against Sierra Leone, but we are going to work hard to six points in those two games.”
