Sounds good. Good luck the Super Eagles!

That’s about 13 days camping. With that, they should be able to get in shape for the tournament and learn new strategies.

    • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

Mr Eguavon please try and win the Afcon in order to honour your predecessor and give him a proper send off. Because he built the team you are enjoying today. Thank you.

      • Which team did rohr build @Monkeypost

        • @Oga Christian Ministries Please keep quiet. Where was Osimhen playing before Gernot Rohr started playing him???
What of the inclusion of Aribo??
And the constant use of Ndidi rather than Onazi??? Or was Uzoho and Maduka Okoye goal keepers in Keshi or Oliseh’s team??
Even persuading Iwobi, Ola Aina and Kevin Akpoguma to switch to Nigeria is enough.
Now we also have Bonnke from Malmo and Onyeka from Brentford.
Please just keep your myopic views to yourself, instead of showing your ignorance.

@Ben, u are kind of delusional. If Grandpa Rohr likes like jim keep all these players u jst mentioned here now, it ll shock u the amount of talented players that we ll eventually present at the Afcon. So save us this story abeg.

          • Ben if you don’t have any contribute to make please keep quiet… Who told you that it was rohr that persuaded iwobi to play for Nigeria, iwobi played is first game under siasia… Nigeria vs Egypt that game ended 1_1…. Please get your fact right before coming here to say nonsense….

    • Igbekun Abo 2 years ago

For now, they are still using the list of 40 players that Rohr submitted probably with the inclusion of Nwakali, Alhassan Yusuf and one homebased player.

      • onwajunior 2 years ago

Where is Rohr’s 40-man list? I’ve not seen it on any website.

  • Alphonso Gbefumu 2 years ago

Many thanks to the CSN, it’s better we hear more stuffs about our preparations. Whatever the case may be, it is important that the invitees report to camp early, focused, in shape and ready to lead. What is the provisional list like, csn?

NONE OF ANYONE OF HOME BASE PLAYERS HAVE BRIBE OUR CREW OF BRIBE TAKERS COACHES FOR THEM TO MAKE SQUAD FOR AFCON CAMP. BECAUSE BY NOW HOME BASE SUPER EAGLE CAMP SUPPOSED TO HAVE OPEN.

      • DON'T MIND THEM 2 years ago

OUR TECHNICAL CREW OF BRIBE TAKERS ARE STILL WAITING FOR PLAYERS WHO WILL BRIBE THEM SO THAT THEIR NAME WILL BE INCLUDED INTO SUPER EAGLE CAMP.
THIS IS THE ONE OF THE REASON WHY THE CAMP LIST IS STILL DELAY TO BE ANNOUNCED.

  • Stanley 2 years ago

Wao Wao Wao! I don’t know if it’s gonna be standard camp or high performance camp type, whatever. I would rather suggest a high performance camp which is more physical and mental tasking. At least to enable the wards train for 6-7 hours everyday. Our ballers already know how to move around the field and position themselves; and I hope they will easily understand the instructions of their Coach. Consequently, training can be much faster and more efficient. Leggo S.Eagles!

  • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

    Hahahahaha……So Uyo still exists LMAOooo….?

We should have camped in Lagos and used the same weed infested grounds the NFF intentionally used to sabotage the team in their attempt to force a failure only for Rohr to beat them to their game by winning all his matches away from home….LMAOOOo.

Its missio accompli now, so we can go back to Uyo……LMAOOoooo

    • Obong_Ben 2 years ago

@Dr. Drey be calming down. I really don’t see why u are making it look like the NFF were intentionally sabotaging Grandpa Rohr’s effort by bringing the team to the Teslim Balogun Stadium. That is jst some cheap lie.

Let me state it clearly that i am and still not in support of the SE playing at that stadium at all. But let’s not forget that Vincent Enyeama and his set of players then being guided by Oliseh complained about Asaba Stadium too i think. And that is how it has been.

We know that the NFF always makes the issue political when it comes to the SE. They have carried the team to vitually all the states in Nigeria lolz. So it didn’t start with Grandpa Rohr. What is good for d orange seller ought to be good for the pure water seller. Fare is Fare.

The reason Grandpa Rohr was axed was about the team’s on the field performance. Nobody is talking about whether he was winning or not.

But if ur eyes no pain u watching the our last game against Cape Verde then i will think u probably have a eye defect…

      Fly on Super Eagle.

      • Dr Banks 2 years ago

@Obong_Ben, are you the spokesperson for NFF now? All these rubbish you are spewing in their defence is becoming irritating and senseless. And you are doing such a bad job at spinning lies in their favour, Lai Mohammed didn’t teach you well bro

        • Obong_Ben 2 years ago

Dr. Banks do me well to point out the lies i have said now. And pls i don’t speak for the NFF. I try to stick to the issue being discussed. When it is time to criticize the NFF u ll read my post oga.

      • Dr. Drey 2 years ago

Hehehehehe… Obong_Ben, if your own brains were not paining you, you would have deciphered the fact that moving the team to a stadium the players and coaches complained severally about, eventually vindicated by the rather damning verdict from CAF in the end, was purely an act of sabotage.

So why is the team now being moved back to UYO now…..think Mr man….think..! So the “political issue” that necessitated the SE playing in Lagos does not support camping in Lagos anymore right….LMAOOOooo. You need to go for a brain check if you cant think beyond the ordinary….You must be suffering from a brain defect….LMAOOoo.

Rohr was not axed for any on-the-field performance…that was an alibi. Every dog needs a bad name to kill it. That was why Pinnick came up with lies about indiscipline being at its lowest ebb (when this team has been the MOST DISCIPLINED Super Eagles team we’ve had in decades) and on-the-field performances (which was producing results – talk about pragmatism and efficiency – that we never had in the days of African Guadiolas). Or which beautiful tiki-taka football have we played in the last 2 decades…? Did we have Brazil and France in our groups when we couldnt qualify for AFCONs and World cups…? Please tell us, what was Oliseh’s pattern..? What was Siasia’s pattern..? What was Keshi’s pattern…? And the others before them…? Pls tell us in one word the name of the style of football they played and how efficient they were.

If you are a deep thinker, you would have realized paying 2m + 1 years salary in severance fees not to win AFCON is the worst decision any administrator can take…..LMAOOOoo. If NFF truly believed Rohr wouldnt meet his target, why are they so in a hurry to dismiss him so expensively when they could have done that without paying a cent….LMAOOoo. But they knew that this man that has refused to fail despite all their acts of intentional sabotage, from drawing up his contract in a way to force him to reject it, to stripping him of his technical crew, to foisting an incompetent stooge as assistant, to witholding players bonuses for 2 years, to owing 8 months salaries, to forcing the team to play on weeds when a FIFA standard facility was begging for use in UYO, may still decide not to fail and render them powerless as he has done all the while (same way things turned out under Keshi at 2013 AFCON)….LMAOOoo…….if all these arent still clear to you as intentional acts of sabotage then you need deliverance.

If I want to make any of my staff look incompetent, I know what assignments I will give to them. If NFF were really sure Rohr wasnt going to do well afcon they would have left him there….LMAOOoo…and sack him for free afterwards. Panic and and desperation not to fail has now forced them to assemble a 9, NINE man consortium……LMAOOoo…in order to avoid “failing with our won”. Even at that, its a given we are still not winning the AFCON even with all the 9 men in charge….that’s why enemies of Nigerian football didnt know when they confessed “failure with their own” immediately the new crew was announced…..LMAOOOo. I just hope too many cooks will not spoil this soup that I am looking at now.

Now that Rohr is gone, NFF now remembers we need 9 personnel on our technical bench (we’ve not included team doctors, physios, physical trainers, nutritionists, etc) Only the technical hands are 9 in number…..LMAOOooo, they now remember UYO is the best place in the country to prepare for AFCON, they now remember a coach needs ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT to succeed, they now remember the players need to be paid their bonuses…..LMAOOooo.

NFF should have left Yobo and Agu alone with Eguavoen to lead us to Cameroon if they truly believed they are competent enough…..LMAOOOooo. Or are these not the same assistants they gave to Rohr…??? LMAOOOo. Despite lining up 9-man consortium, even the NFF that employed them are still running helter skelter looking for a competent foreign coach to prosecute of WCQ……LMAOOOo….confused bunch of people….LMAOOoo.

See all of them reeking of incompetence.

        • @Obong_Ben if truly you know football, then you will know you cannot assemble a whole new team of 28 players in 2 weeks. Except you are going there to fail in the first place. The fact that you even mentioned that Eguavoen can assemble a whole new team without those players included shows the level of your ignorance in the first place.
No new team performs on 2 weeks of camping. That is a disaster.
Thats why people like you should be dispelled away from the affairs of any organization, because you will use your personal bias to spoil everything.

Where in the World of football has 2 weeks of camping with a new team win a tournament.
Very very very myopic and ignorant. No wonder you were using my CSN forum nane to spread your myopicness because you lacked confidence that your views will not go well.

    • Dr Banks 2 years ago

These lunatic NFF won’t stop to amaze me. Now they are back in Uyo but all this while that Rohr has been begging them to return the team matches back to Uyo, they refused to listen. Now that they succeeded in sacking Rohr, then Uyo suddenly becomes available.

I said it earlier and it’s confirmed now that NFF’s was for Rohr to fail to Qualify for WC playoff so they can sack him without any qualms. This is devilish, they have no interest of Nigerian soccer development at heart at all, it’s all about their pockets

    • Sam K 2 years ago

oga cry from now to tomorrow, Rohr has been sacked

      • Agreed Rohr has been sacked with them playing many tricks abi on him Abi???
Make we day watch, no tricks we be played with Eguavoen, but what goes around comes around. Simple.
I can even get now that the reason we haven’t seen Eguavoen’s team list is because bribery and corruption has started or else why delay the list at all.

Other nations have started releasing their list. Yet Super Eagles old boys and consortium of coaches dey drink and laugh yesterday.

        We are watching

  • Why not camp them in Lagos abi is the boat not working again? Thought they are going to Cameroon by boat again. Idiot people since their nightmare has been gotten rid of. These are the people wailers are to suppose to vex their anger on but unfortunately cos of nepotism and tribalism they are doing so to Gernot Rohr.

    • @Obong Ben, when someone has been treated unjustly, it’s left for God to decide it. Abi are you scared for Eguavoen already???

He should continue, make we dey watch. AFCON is close already. No team list yet. Only rumours of a team list. Yesterday was Super Eagles old boys meet up Abi?? Their other African counterparts are waiting for them. Na old boys meetup was important.
      Ok o.

        • Obong_Ben 2 years ago

Why is the post giving you blood rush, hahahaha?? There is absolutely nothing wrong if the new interim Coach is sticking with the already selected players by d defaunt Grandpa Rohr. The question is are those players able to help the coach achieve his plans for the Afcon?? If u answer this question sincerely then i ll suggest u jejely kill that butterfly dancing in ur stomach like a teenage girl in love. Hahahaha.

Question – Did Grandpa Rohr bring any of these guyz from his home town when he was offered the job?

          Answer – NO?

Question – Are the players in question Nigerians

          Answer – YES!

Question – Will it make sense to completely ulter the list on such short notice?

          Answer – NO.

I believe it is in the interest of football loving Nigerians in consonance with the plan of the coaching crew that the list is maintained… Besides if we go back to when Grandpa Rohr played his 1st game with the Nigerian team, u ll discover that he never changed much from the team he met on ground. Any good coach knows better to start from there.

          Up Super Eagles…

      • Greenturf 2 years ago

Absolutely @Ben kalma do catch up with evil people.
Rohr was a good transparent man.You could feel his innocence,he has passion for his job and love the Nigerian people who unfortunately can’t receprocate that love.
His employers stabbed him at the back they set up very difficult targets which he met because he knows his job and goes it as a true professional he is,but you can tell his employers shamefully wanted him out at all costs coming up with fictitious news just to get the backing of the Nigerian populace.
Finally their evil plans was executed in the most harshest mindless ways. This people are the enemies of Nigerian football and has always been.
When you are horrible to a good person the result always comes back nasty. We have been through that journey in the past and the outcome never thought us any lessons and never would!

In 2002, they sacked Amodu Shuaibu of blessed memory and brought in the SNAILMAN(Onigbinde). Unmitigated disaster.
In 2010 they sacked Amodu Shuaibu again and brought the LARGERMAN(Largerback). Major disaster.
In 2021, they have sacrificed Gernot Rohr for OGUNEFON and his Instagram consortia of football ambassadors, Pastors Imams and soothsayers. God help us.
