Tyronne Ebuehi is the new arrival in the Super Eagles camp in Garoua, ahead of the 2021 AFCON holding in Cameroon.

Ebuehi’s arrival was confirmed by the Eagles’ media officer Babafemi Raji on Saturday morning.

This brings the number of Eagles players to 26 with Jamilu Collins and Odion Ighalo still being expected.

Wait o!!! What is happening to Jamilu colins? He is yet to be in camp by now?????

  • Michel 2 years ago

Collins is protesting for rohr probably, rohr was using him ahead of better players that why he is not here and will not come .

  • I wish Ighalo turns up in camp and join the team.

We need him in this team.

    God bless Nigeria.

    • Ighalo not Coming is a blessing in disguise……. believe me

      • uclaw 2 years ago

        Respect bro.
        Highest goal scorer last afcon
Highest goal scorer during last WC qualifiers.
I don’t want him to come though so that our “new strikers” will do the scoring.

  • I hope we have the right squad to win the AFCON cup

  • Welcome Ebuehi.

    God bless you.

  • From my Outlook, the super eagles may not win the 2021 afcon because of poor leadership at the top

  • Bestsport 2 years ago

Very foolish idiot of a person is Dennis! You no fit yawa Watford for release? Can Watford stop a South American or European players from playing their championship? Dennis na moron! Trust Nigeria, that’s your world Cup dream damaged! I promise you that! If you like score 50 goals, you won’t ever make it with the super Eagle again!

  • Collins is really not doing his case much good by not being in camp till now. There is a consensus that they are better players in the team and outside the team that can play in that role better than him. Players like zaidu, aina and bassey are those viewed as better left full backs than him and he is still yet to report to camp to fight for a,spot? He isn’t a favourite of mine in the team but I hope he is ok.
As for ighalo joining to the team, I dont much care anymore. We have more than enough players who can fit in that role. Taiwo, sadiq, olayinka, iheanacho even onyekuru if the need be. So ighalo can stay back or join up if he wishes. But the team is already stocked with attacking players and options.

Ighalo and Collins not in the team now are all blessing in disguise, we will beat Egypt….I am 100% sure of it, I know some people will criticize my opinion but we will all watch the match and see a different .

    God bless you

Nigerians are quick to forget things easily.

Why can’t we hold Amaju and coach Eguavoen accountable for their deed?

No1. NFF have turning Super Eagles to a business center. They selected players based on corruption. NFF are still waiting for Ighalo to join the team in Cameroon but my question is, what do NFF need Ighalo for in that team if not because of corruption?

NFF wasted a slot for nothing. I can’t swallow the pain. I am still angry with NFF and Eguavoen for denying Dessers a chance.

The hatred is too much for Eguavoen to the extent that the coach preferred Amoo and Nasarawa striker to Dessers. Amoo is not a striker but he said he will switch Amoo to that position.

Now that the tournament is almost read, only Nigerian team will miss a player due to nepotism, selfishness and egotism of the NFF and the coaches in the Super Eagles?

Ebuehi that intentionally dropped from the squad is now with the team while their Messiah Ighalo is not with the team yet and Dessers who deserved the invitation did not selected for the tournament and the gaffer should be worried now that none of his strikers were able to score on Friday in their friendly.

I love coach Eguavoen and I know his capacity but with what he did to Dessers, he would definitely get the results in Cameroon.

Welcome Ebuehi. We love you. Good luck to Super Eagles. God bless Nigeria!!!

    • Ayphillydegreat 2 years ago

Where did Eguavoen said he will switch Amoo to a striker position?? Ha people can lie for the heavens to fall. Ogbẹni. Go and support Comoros leave our SuperEagles alone if you know Eguavoen will not get the results in Cameroon. Lmao!!! Why all of una became jittery all of a sudden?? Lmao!! I go laugh till February 6

      • Omo9ja 2 years ago

@Ayphillydegreat, you called me a liar but yet you haven’t watched coach Eguavoen’s interview.

You need to apologize to me AY.

“Where did Eguavoen said he will switch Amoo to a striker position”??

Yes he did. Go on YouTube and search for NFF TV and watch his interview there.

I am not a liar like you former Oga Rohr followers kę.

I am more worried about the selection of the players coach Eguavoen took to Cameroon.

If we have Ighalo in Cameroon, that is not a enough. Umar Sodiq is the only hope and a reliable striker we have when we have Dessers, Kayode, Ogu’s friend, I can’t remember his name and the coaches are fooling themselves by relying on Ighalo?

Even Kayode is a reliable striker that can do more than Ighalo, Awoniyi and Olayinka but again corruption is the main problem of our leaders.

I am not talking about Eguavoen’s ability here because
I know his limit and he can get the job done no doubt but it should be a big concern for us all as we are heading to Cameroon, our strikers may be wasteful in front of goal when we have a striker that deadly in front of goal, well calculative in the 18 yard box and reliable in front of goal but because he Dessers doesn’t know how to bribe his way in, they kicked him out Of the Super Eagles. That is not fear at all.

“Why all of una became jittery all of a sudden”??

Jittery for what? I have no pressure on me my man.

The team selected by Eguavoen and Amaju is manageable to win something but not the best when we have the players are capable to win the Afcon trophy for Nigeria? Are you expecting me to follow Eguavoen like you people did during our world class coach Oga Rohr? I am sorry, I can not do that.

As a Nigerian, I wish our Super Eagles a good outing in Cameroon but I am not satisfied with the inclusion of Ighalo, Akpeyi, John Noble while we have Dessers, Dennis, Lookman, Ejaria, Akpoguma, Adeleye, Osagwe, Bassey and Ajiboye that are far better than the players selected by Amaju and Eguavoen and other coaches and you are expecting me to keep silent huh?

No wonder that Oga Rohr spent almost six years without winning a tea cup. 9ja for show indeed. Ire o. God bless Nigeria!!!

@Omo9ja, You must be high on “mkpuru mmiri”, Kayode can do more than Awoniyi, smhhh, Awoniyi that is the 3rd highest goal scorer in Bundesliga , ??

          • Omo9ja 2 years ago

That means you don’t know much about football.

Is Bundesliga a Nigerian national team?

I am talking about the qualities of our strikers not about the league they play in .

Let me give you more examples sir. Aghahowa was playing some here in Africa during the Afcon 2000 and he was selected in the Afcon list.

Akwegbu and Chukwu were unable to rescue Nigeria against Senegal but the introduction of Aghahowa was good enough in that match and won the match for Nigeria in the end.

When we are talking about a dependable striker you can rely on Kayode. He is among the best strikers we have. Dessers also in that category.

The current Super Eagles team needed at least two reliable and dependable strikers they can count on in Cameroon.

Is Ighalo we saw in Lagos during our world cup qualifiers cane be rely on?

We played our first friendly match yesterday and none of our strikers scored in that match and you don’t see that as a challenge?

Anyway, I don’t need to waste my time on this. God bless Nigeria!!!

Guys, this is coming from a reliable source, the players in camp are in high spirit. The training that the coaches are putting them through is quite different from what Rohr was given them. A player said Rohr, though they love him because of his man-management, but in terms of coaching… Eagles have been wasting time with Rohr, that the Eagles will deliver
