  • It is very funny that the poor state of Pitches is coinciding with non payment of players and staff of the Super Eagles. It only points to one conclusion. Amaju Pinnick and his people are embezzling the annual funds FIFA sends to each federation for up keep of footballing standards as it is part of their mandate not just that all other forms of finance that is for development of football and footballing infrastructure in this Country Amaju Pinnick is stealing funds or with holding them to be funneled, and he is doing so with the backing and knowledge of the Nigerian Government otherwise, there is no reason why the state of Pitches should be this way. and this process is also done between Individual Governors and Nigerian Parliament

    • Everybody is complacent. From the Govt (Congress) sponsors, the media, and sports Journalists. These are people who should be demanding answers. If I was a sponsor, I would want to know what exactly NFF is spending the money I give them on. Or I will tell them exactly what I want them to spend the money on I monitor the process myself. but No, everyone contributes to the corruption!!!
People must demand answers. We are simply bigger than this.

  • AWSOME PERFORMANCE

Pinnick and most leaders of southern extraction are always the worst in administration…

Let’s face it… That Lagos, a renown sports city has no standard football ready stadium and playing turf is really a shame.

  • See he pretend as if he did not see the state of the poor pitch on which the match was played and should have apologize for using that kind of pitch but pride will not.

    Correct Minister!

  • Unfortunately not a good start for the Football Federation and Sports Ministry. You people are corrupt to the core and it has now surpassed embarrassing levels. This is criminal now. You should all be ashamed of yourself. You don’t care about this country, you only care about what goes into your pocket. If I was the Sports Minister, heads will be rolling right now otherwise I will be hiding from the shame. Obviously, you don’t have any and that is why you are making speeches after disgracing the whole country.
