This isn’t difficult to understand nah.

Welcome Osimhen and that God for arriving safely. As a proponent of wait and see, I have always said there is still time since camp is closing tomorrow. Good luck to SE?

Ighalo should make up his mind either to stay retired or come back to the team, why is he not in camp yet,he knew ahead of time that he will be invited ,yet he is not in camp,he has wasted another person’s spot and yet he doesn’t know whether to come or not.its not difficult to travel from saudi Arabia,he can’t run away this time coz it’s too late.he must come and score those goals that Awoniyi and co cannot score,he has already made the mistake by accepting to return to SE.no one that came out of retirement ever made it in the eagles and I’m sure that is what is eating him up now.

The boys are good to go….up super eagles of Nigeria

Welcome Osimhen, bang goals! Terrorize defense! As always

Is Ighalo trying to play games?? U want to make us feel you were forced to come play again?? Lol

You wouldn’t have been called up in the first place If you’re really not interested so just come camp jeje no need of playing games to make think otherwise, even though your callup is questionable, I still wish u all the best man, you’ve served Nigeria well.

    God bless SE

Why some people take Ighalo issue personnel?
What is his offence at all?
Can anyone beat his chest and say he has never made mistake in life.

  • MONKEY POST 2 years ago

I feel Ighalo is around and wants to stay away from the eyes of the media until on Saturday where he will pop up and use his leg to respond to all you guys nasty comments. Or worst come to worst Baba don change mind…Because with all the distractive harsh comments, you guys might make it impossible for him to stay focus. I mean imagine someone on this forum is already saying if they loose in Lagos, lagosians will burn their houses. You can imagine. Threats coming in already. SMH….

    • Even If Ighalo like let him score 10 goals. You see the mistake of Inviting Ighalo now is, Liberia is not really a team to write home about. Osimhen can definitely do the Job as he faces more Rugged defenders in Italia, Awoniyi would have Done the Job because German defences are just as Rugged So to Iheanacho as he banged in 2 against Liberia already. A wise coach would have let these young guns Continue the job they started with out ex players interference (and are doing quite commendably might I add), that way he is also showing them faith and trust which is very important for younger players and most importantly there will be no animosity amongst players. A Wise Coach would have tested Ighalo against Stonger Opponents. Thats a serious Coach mentality.

Because if Ighalo scores against Liberia or Cape Verde which any of our attackers would have done, then he seals his World Cup ticket!, This will be unfair What if Awoniyi ends up German League Highest scorer. That achievement itself deserves a call up to the German National team tankless of Nigeria.

A wise coach who is serious about Gauging weather Ighalo still has it. Would have done so in a International Friendly against Stronger Opponent than Liberia or Cape Verde. Because my point is how is this justifiable when Ighalo Iheanacho and co performed Admirable against International teams in the Top 10 Standings in World football 1 and half ago when they were even less effective than they are Today. So already with this in mind Ighalo coming for Liberia Friendly as a yard stick for making the World Cup team is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ighalo should just stay away from the team……He is the best striker in the world we know and we have seen enough of him…….We need to see more of Awoniyi, Dennis and Moffi….. Nobody is against Ighalo because nobody is above mistakes but he is preventing others from making their own mistakes and learning from it……I know okocha and Kanu have Wade into this matter because they have been quiet in the media so it’s possible they got to Ighalo personally and adviced him to lay low…….The young shall grow.

  • TRUTH BE TOLD…The last time i checked, Ighalo has left Chinese league where it’s more difficult and you will spend more time to come to Nigeria…but, the League He currently plays, he should be the first to hit that Super Eagles camp in Morocco, to lay a good examples to the young Eagles.. that whenever there’s a call to national duties, you ought to report as early as possible whether you play the previous match in your club or not….the whole essence of bringing is to get a win in Morocco and make the last home game a mere dead rubber game biko.

    • @TOD_ Just Ighalo’s invite alone has already set Bad Expamles to the Younger Players. If I had to list all of them I will be here all day. Reporting late is a big one. DOn’t Forget Osimhen and Ighalo are both Edo. So automatically Osibobo will consider Ighalo his Elder brother and will be looking up to him. I really wanted Ighalo to stay far away from Osi. again Ighalo is the type that follows money over his football status hence he is palying in Saudi at onlt 32 while players like Suarez is still Chasing reputation and Glory with Atletico at 34. Lets not even go to Ronaldo Osimhen needs a better Role Model really? and I say this from the most humble place. Look at Okocha and Kanu even Yakubu these guys tried to play at the highest level for as long as possible. Ighalo with this late arrival is already showing that he has Rohr and Pinnick where he wants them. Quite sad.

      • I cant but agree with your submission on the lasting effect of his late reporting to camp. in respective of the circumstances surrounding his late arrival it’s not good at all…since the current young Eagles came up..they turn up to camp early, he should not take us back to that era. all the very best to our darling SUPER EAGLES…that GREEN & WHITE JERSEY carries so much PRIDE and VALUE from generations to generations. people in charge of our football administration should not water it down with their selfish interest this time.

  • @Ugo this was what you guys were saying before CAR humbled us at home. Football has gone beyond underestimating your opponent simply cos you think you have better players or better placed than them. It’s always good to parade all your best arsenal in any match if you want to be champion. So because Liberia is not strong opponent now he should toy with them like they did against CAR so that you can blame him again. Like i always say this man is the head of that team for now and he is going to be held responsible for every actions and inactions so keep your advice to yourself and wait till when you are made the SE coach thanks.

    • @tayo One Question what was the score in the Return leg and while you are at it. also list the aggregate score for the two legs over CAR. Who won bro??. and also the win came after the loss at home, meaning they have learnt thier lesson (Experience) not to take lesser opponents for granted. In light of this how can you consider them a faliure. I didn’t see Ighalo in this game. did you? .

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aV-7B47T-cA&t=6s

      • @tayo also another Big point. The regain of Fitness of Iwobi and Chukwueze as well as Ndidi. But in this arguement I will highlight Chuks and Iwobi. Do you maybe think thier Inclusion will add more creativity for the likes of Ighalo and Iheancho? ..

You quite rightly pointed out “Strongest Asstets” bast on that stament then we have not delivered with the list. because on Form Awoniyi should be there. PERIOD!!! our team depth wise of theh bench is considerably weaker with Ighalo and Musa to call upon in a tight game of the bench than a Lookman, Dennis or Awoniyi FACTS BRO!!!!!.

Did you know that Lookman is Brendan Rogders go to guy when he needs a goal that is if he is not starting. Excuse me if I am wrong but, if Rohr actually follows our boys religiously then Why can’t he pick that up @tayo?. worst of it has come out that Lookman is ready to go for NG he is only waiting on a call. It is just Rohr is not looking Lookman way excuse the pun lol. He is still busy pushing Musa to be the highest capped player of NG even at the cost to our progress and very undeservadly so. I mean Musa is not even in the top 15 of wingers we have now globally. IS that not SAD!!

Maybe when you hear that Lookman chose Englan like Ugbo then ur eye go clear. @tayo please use sense and take it from guys who actually wtah ball abeg.

  • *Osimhen and Iheanacho* not Ighalo

  • Ighalo is only trying to paint the picture of reluctance and unwillingness to return. I’m very sure, in the next fixtures, Ighalo will arrive earlier.

  • I DEY SHAME 2 years ago

PLEASE FORGET ABOUT THE ISSUE OF MISSING IGHALO. WE DON’T NEED HIS FOLKING EXPERIENCE. AFTERALL, WE WENT TO CAPE-VERDE WITHOUT 8 TOP STARS after defeat against C.A.R. & WE WON THE GAME 2-1. THEN WHO DO WE MISSED. DON’T LET US OURSELVES. WHAT EXPERIENCE ADEPOJU, KANU OFFER TO SUPER EAGLE IN 2002 W/CUP, 2010 W/CUP OR WHAT ARE THEY PLAY/CONTRIBUTE IN THAT YEAR THAT SURPASS WHAT THEY HAVE PLAYED BEFORE.
WE LIKE TO BE USING WORD “EXPERIENCE” DECIEVING OURSELVES IN THIS COUNTRY.

God, our Ighalo will not show up to play for Nigeria. Millions of Ighalo fans have been fasting, praying for our Ighalo to dump Nigeria for good. Ighalo, in the name of our Edo ancestor, dump the ingrates, your enemies are waiting in ambush to devour you in their evil nets. They are even planning to born your lovely home down if you play for your father’s land. Don’t do it. Deprive them of the joy they suppose to derive from those wonderful goals you are capable of scoring for your father’s land. Thanks for all those wonderful people around the World who praying fervently for our Ighalo not to play again for Nigeria. Amen.

    • @Edoman You are too dramatic lol.

Ighalo is just being reasonable I am sure he can see the backlash his supposed invite is causing and is probably doing the rational thing and giving MAJORITY (KEYWORD!!) of Nigerians what we want he is not blind and has social Media (if so Kudos to him!). Which is to allow Osimhen, Iheanacho and Awoniyi and possibly the likes of Lookman and Dennis the chance. If we full this team with so called experience like Pinnick is planning then what happens to likes of Dennis/Lookman/Awoniyi Amoo all these boys who deserve a look in from now until World Cup at least in International Friendlies. THAT IS HOW SERIOUS COACHES OPERATES. No panicking and calling back Segun Odegbami/ Kanu / Ighalo and co to come and do the Job young able bodied STARS! (Key word) can. Abeg.

You already knew he’s a calamity hence you’re praying for him to to stay away from the upcoming march so as to save himself from embarrassment. Ighalo you must play the match. Onye gbaa oso, mpa ya

  • Shuma 2 years ago

I don’t have a problem with Ighalo. Just because he has been called up doesn’t mean he is gonna turn up. Happened with Adama Traore, he was called up for Mali and Spain but then decided to play for Spain. A lot of people hate Ighalo from the jump ever since world cup 2018 and he stated that, that’s why he retired early. Looking at the comments the hate comes from a tribal point of you (no surprise).

My problem is Awoniyi not getting a call. This is the problem I have with Rohr, the lineup is so inconsistent, its gonna mess up the synergy and partnerships with players. I don’t know what’s his plan. This team looks so mediocre. Right now out of the super eagles the only players who have stand out performances are Awoniyi and Osimhen. All the other players are from relegated or losing teams, like come on Jamilu Collins? That dude been on that relegated team forever, obviously he is not making an impact

Amoo Akinkunmi is the future of Nigeria’s football. The kid is better than Messi. Amoo is the darling of the Germans fans. I appeal to all Nigerians football fans to go watch him right away.

    • Michel 2 years ago

I agree with you on Amoo, that young boy is playing regularly and scoring goals,if rohr was a good coach,he would have dropped Musa and give that guy a look inm
