2022 WCQ Playoffs: ‘Eagles Are Willing To Die On The Pitch Against Ghana’ –Falode

President of the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL), Aisha Falode has revealed that the players are willing to die on the pitch in today’s 2022 World Cup qualifying playoffs against the Black Stars of Ghana in Kumasi.

Falode made this known in an interview with the team’s media officer at their training camp in Kumasi, where they are expected to face their West African neigbour.

She applauded the efforts of the Honourable Minister of Sports, Sunday Dare and President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick for providing the team with a five star hotel.

Falode also praised the mood and mentality of the players ahead of today’s game in Kumasi.

“We really must thank the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick and the Honourable Minister of Sports for giving the Super Eagles and indeed all the national teams football this kind of an arrangement that is unprecedented.

“We have had top notched preparations for this all important World Cup qualifiers, like the ones before it. There is nothing like when we have players in the right mentality and in the right mood for wanting to deliver to the nation because the nation has giving so much to them.

“They have travelled in star and accommodated in a five star hotel and you must remember that once this place was named as venue on Wednesday, on Thursday, Amaju Pinnick made sure he got some of us on flight to come and pay a visit and value the facility. As a result of that visit, we are able to change the hotel from what was proposed before to a five star hotel that we are in now. Of course you can see the beautiful stadium, natural grass, good ambience and today we are going to have a packed stadium.

“If you go outside the stadium see the numbers of Nigerians, some of them tying the national flags on their waist. Some of them waving it. It means that Nigerians will be here in Kumasi in their numbers today. The boys are willing to die on the pitch and deliver.”

This woman make I ask you this question ARE YOU READY TO DIE FOR SUPER FALCONS?

I remembered those days when you were still working as Sport Analysis on AIT. you used to so Much say all manners of words against the NFA then. Until they NFA gave you appointment suddenly you joined the corrupt cabal of now NFF. So stop saying super eagle are ready to die in Ghana. Those guys are human and they have families to take care of.
God blessed Super Eagle we are winning today in Kumasi by God grace Amen.

Let us win a match but not die on the pitch. The NFF has to shut foaming mouths

Wao wao wao! Madam Folade, I’m one of those tying our flag but mine as a scarf . Nigerians in numbers are killing it right here. It’s a big time victory party.

  • Just as they die against Tunisia! Instead of saying they will give their all as of other team did not give their own team good preparation. Italy players could have die against North Macedonia yesternight too. Yeye the earlier you know football has gone beyond all this the better madam

They won’t die but they will give their all..

Their lives matters more to us and their families compared to football..

Nigeria will win and qualify and they will all return to their love ones alive and healthy

  • Let’s just hope that the boys won’t disappoint on the fie,by playing for each other, bcos they often mess up when you’ve banked on them.

On a good day,if the boys decide to play good game, no country is capable of getting Nigeria.

CSN should be listing the likely Super Eagles line-up, not telling us who Falode believes will die on the pitch

  • @Ako, Falode cannot give any likely lineup because, she is not among coaching crew. She may not even know what is in the coaches mind.

Obviously, the Eagles are better in better abd rated higher than the BS. My only advice to Cerezo is to start only players that can perform under pressure. If Cerezo insists on starting Ekong, Chukzy and Nacho,he may have to be on the touch line passing instructions and get them fired up throughout the duration of the match. Based on past important ND crucial matches, these three players are major suspects and the Ghanaians may want to exploit these loopholes..
