Former Ghana attacker, Bernard Don Bortey has boasted that the Black Stars will overcome the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the forthcoming 2022 World Cup playoff slated for this month.
Ghana will host the first leg in Cape Coast on March 25. Four days later, the reverse fixture will be played in Abuja.
In a chat with Bryt FM, Bortey said that the array of stars in the Super Eagles must be prepared to face a very determined Ghanaian team that want to qualify for the world showpiece.
“Ghana, Nigeria is a different ball game all together considering the rivalry between us.
“At first, it was not about names but this time around the players will count.
“I believe in Ghana; I believe in the players and I believe Ghana will qualify,” Bortey told Bryt FM.

Any person comment on this encouter with victory over other will put his team on pressure which will fizzle and loose plays- off matches; this will put the players under psychological pressure witch will get a negative results, so I recommend coaches and players must not comment on these tow plays-off encounter except after the tow matches.

Ghanaians are crisis prone but we won’t allow them to turn the playoffs into war. It’s just like Akpoborie saying Super Eagles will defeat the Black Stars.
I admonished the Technical Team headed by Coach Eguavoen to drop 40% of the present Eagles setup, they have lived their usefulness. There is that deliberation to bring in fresh players. Lookman is already in, Nigerians have in unionism called for the inclusion of Adebayo Adeleye, Akinkunmi Amoo, Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze, Obazee and also calling on Victor Moses to rescind his retirement decision.
The only response is to win in Ghana and we shall surely win. Abuja is to consolidate that win.

How you evluate Ghana will defeat Super Eagles? I think your evlaution is not right, because Black Stars on their last Afco. in Cameroon have been knocked out from the championship from the preliminary round with tow loses and one draw; their defence is so shaky; thier attck is also so bad and bad they have cluless attacters who lost so many chances to score goals, by these contexts how you put Ghana on your mine to beat SE ?! SE have terrible attackters who scored six goals on Afco. in Cameroon? how you compare them with shaky Black Stars attackers ? Black Stars defence is also shaky the recieved many goals on thier goalkeeper.
