2022 World Cup: Argentina, Morocco Will Progress To Final –Sutton

Former England forward, Chris Sutton has predicted that Argentina and Morocco will play in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Albiceleste are set to play Croatia on December 13 in the semi-final at the Lusail Stadium while Morocco will take on France on December 14 at the Al Bayt Stadium.

However, in a chat with BBC Sports, Sutton believes that the supporters of Argentina and Morocco could get both countries into the final.

“I would like to see Argentina and Morocco get through because of their teams’ amazing support,” BBC quoted Sutton as saying.

“Argentina fans drag their team through matches -it was like a home game for them against the Netherlands in the last eight, and it will be the same against Croatia.

“With Morocco I also think how it will be a great story for an African team to make it. Too often at this tournament we disregard teams from outside Europe and South America, but Morocco have made people think differently.

“They would be my romantic choice to make the final, but I am less sure about their chances against France.”

Morocco will beat France. If that really happens, never again will anybody, African players included, underestimate African players who wants to be playing for their home Country.

Pele won the world cup three times. How come a person winning it the first time becomes greatest of all time

How many UCL has Messi won?

        • Fetch 6 months ago

Paco Gento won 6 ucl trophies, Ronaldo has won 5 ucl trophies. Is this how you judge the greatest of all time. The world cup is the ultimate and Pele already has three gold medals

The FIFA world cup is the top prize in Football……More prestigious than the champions league. 5 or 6 champions league will never equate to being a world cup winner….

When pele won it multiple times his team mates that won it those multiple times should also be called GOAT. It is not everything that is argument Messi is just the Greatest and the De Lima knows why he acknowledges Messi when making a trophy submission and no other player.

How many of Pele’s teammate scored over 1000 career goals? I can list 50 individual achievements of Pele here……..The reason players like Pele are goats goes beyond just the World Cup….These players basically carried their teams on their back and have individual achievements their teammates don’t have…. Now the question is how many football players have won the top prize in football 3 times?

It is strange that people can actually compare Messi to anyone else. Pele scoring 1000 goals representing New York cosmos and Brazil against what teams compared to Messi with European football against what teams??? Hmm it is well there’s no need to carry on the arguments everyone has their way of seeing things.

This is Messi’s fifth world cup. Pele played four world cups and won three. The bar is already raised. Do not lower the standards, the hype is too much

    • Olodo…

  • @ fetch big credit should be given to these guys whom actually have done so well in the last decade.

Football is no longer easy as it were in days of pele. The technicality in the game of football these days shows how developed football his.

It takes more than hardwork to achieve the fit those guys achieved in their own time.

It is quite unfortunate that football is well advance now compare to the days of pele and maradona.

If it were to be now, that maradona hand of God will never sail through.

Mbappe won the world cup at age nineteen and he is on course to win it the second time. He has nine goals in two world cup appearances. Messi has ten goals in five world cup appearances. Stop the unnecessary hype. Football is still a round leather

They were rather disadvantaged not to have the technology in place today to credit and review goals they scored which were ruled offside and for VAR to mischievously award them fake penalties. Football is losing credibility in this modern era rather

Messi will not get to the maintain top, he can view it. He will cry home like they all know how to do. Mbappe is the present King. His Raine may continue.
