Ghana coach, Otto Addo has revealed that the Black Stars have the quality to overcome any team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Black Stars. who are the lowest-ranked team at the tournament have been drawn in Group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
Ghana will take on Portugal in their first game on November 24 before playing South Korea and Uruguay on November 28 and December 2 respectively.
“We have a lot of quality. I see that in training and in our matches too. It was an especially tough game against Nigeria but we competed with them even though we’d made a lot of changes,” coach Addo told FIFA.
“The players adapted very well and very quickly. I think we’ve got a bright future ahead of us with all the talented young players we have, especially because we have the right balance with the older and more experienced players.
“We’re in good shape defensively, we read the game well and have a good feel for when to press the opposition at the right time. We’ve got a great deal of quality up front, our individual class. We can do damage one-on-one and with our speed.”

While I wish Ghana the best in Qatar 2023,they seems not to have the required players and even technical depth to go past round 16,but if they do fine and better for Ghana and mother Africa.
At the same time , we hope an African team can go all the way to semi or the finals this time.

That result was a false positive. Switzerland has been on a downward spiral since the qualifiers, losing all its last 5 games and only managing a draw with minnows and 107-FIFA-ranked Kosovo. If Ghana banks on that result to weigh their chances against Portugal, South Korea, and Uruguay, then I laugh in Ashanti.
And that match was as flat and boring as watching water boil. No spark, no excitement. But no surprises as after being walloped 3-0 by Brazil, Ghana has been picking soft targets Nicaragua and Switzerland to mask their weakness and the fact that they got to Qatar by fluke and are the lowest-ranked team in the tournament.
