“This match will be important for us as it will qualify us for the World Cup. Burkina faso has a really good team and we have played against them before and we experienced a very difficult match. We expect it to be the same in the quarter final,” Ugbade was quoted by CAFonline.

The tactician adds; “My message before the match to the players is that these competitions are usually intense, and I told them we must have the will and play the match as it should, and stressed that winning makes us qualify for the World Cup.”

Ugbade’s side finished second in Group B, with the matches played in Constantine, and have recently relocated to Algiers where the quarter final duel will be played.

  • Ugbade must prepare the boys psychologicaly to score goals and not to be scared of any team.

Presently, Senegal has scored 4 goals against South Africa at 55mins of the match. I believe we are going to play with Senegal at semi final. Ugbade must be careful with his utterances and should not creat unnecessary fear of Senegal in the heart of his boys just as he did when they want to play Morocco.
Nigeria boys are good and can win any team in this competition only if they can avoid errors and be at the right state of mind.

    God bless Nigeria

    • Nigeria will definitely beat any team if the players in question use their heads in every game. Ugbade must stand and shout from start to finish every because these boys lacked the intellect and understanding to get things down. No exceptional players in the team. Well, with the physical present goading of the coaching crew, they might scale through. They have to win, and they must win, they will win. They have won. God bless Nigeria.
