The League Top scorer Ose of Insurance and Ebube Duru of rivers is missing. Complaining shouldn’t be an everyday thing I believe Salisu like his colleague Bosso should do the right thing once and for all.

If that Imade of insurance is within the u-23 age bracket n not invited,, then it only goes to confirm all that has been said about Salisu.
I have been watching most of our local league matches and really surprised that our league can still boast of players like Imade in striking position. He is without doubt the most complete striker in our local league. Big , strong, good with both feet, good in the air, quick off the ground and very aggressive. I see him leaving the local scene very soon. But my problem with Edo/Delta, especially Warri footballers is, though they come with that rare natural flair but most of the time lack professionalism, reason they struggle in Europe, fading out quickly after some few good moments.

It is Ebube Duru’s absence that surprised me the most. Salisu Yusuf is a good coach, he knows best. Good fans with good intentions must support the team.

Wow! Tunisia vs Congo match is very intriguing.

most Congolese players are over 20 or older. The South Sudan goalkeeper should be close to 40 years old. This tournament is cardboard, let it go! Too much age fraud!

      • Ignatius Abo 1 year ago

My guy rest, the Congolese goalkeeper is just 14 years old.

        • yobu 1 year ago

I’m talking about the goalkeeper of the south sudan team, he must be over 40 years old, go get his face, you will be convinced my guy, impossible that he is 20 years old

      • Ignatius Abo 1 year ago

The South Sudan goalkeeper just has craw craw and a rare skin condition that makes his skin age quickly.
        He is 15 years old.

We look forward to a better under 23 team than the one which prosecuted our last games when the league was on break,Salisu had to rely on foreign based players those we could get at the time most of whom play in lower cadre of European football. They were fortunate to scale through, but this period in time the league is on and Salisu has a luxury of players to pick from. But has little time doing so unfortunately.
The new Nff started very well by making sure our national teams prepare well ahead of time for games but sadly, they haven’t followed same template with the Olympic team,i understand they’re professional players and may not get the backing of their clubs in that regards, but players could honour league games in the weekends and turn up in camp for the national team soon after.
Meanwhile, the game against Guinea will be a difficult one.
Guinea are a midfield biased side and very good at that,Nigeria are attack minded with fast breaks from the wings, less focus on midfield but solid defending and attacking. It sure will be another interesting encounter.
Wishing the Olympic team well in this difficult games.

Guinea will not make the weight. Stop being fearful. For the other categories I am rather measured, but for the u23, they will dominate on the continent. They will be untenable.

Thumbs down Brotherman Yobo. Guinea are far better in midfield than Nigeria. Do you think Aribo can play for Liverpool? Nabil Keita is world class. Guinea under 23 have hundreds of Nabil Keita. Rest boss.
